Their debut album " we almost made it home..." will be released to stores
Tuesday September 21.

Blood Meridian is a sleeping giant of an alt-country/rock band centered
around the passionate fear that instills Matthew Camirand (ex-Black
Halos/Okara) to write somber, uplifting songs of life, love and death.
Blood Meridian is the proverbial indie-supergroup being buoyed by the talents
of Jeff Lee (Black Rice), Shira Blustein (Chupacabra), Kevin Grant (Bughouse
5), and Josh Wells (Jerk With a Bomb, Black Mountain, Pink Mountaintops).

All ten tracks on " we almost made it home ..." were recorded by Jesse Gander
in Vancouver's illustrious Hive Studios in the Spring of 2004. The album
itself was written under the heavy but beautiful influence of Dylan's " Blonde on Blonde ", Neil Young's " Zuma ", Gene Clark's " White Heat " ,
and the Meat Puppets' second LP.
Blood Meridian will celebrate the release of " we almost made it home ..."
at Mikes Tavern in Vancouver on Saturday September 25 with guests
"The Christa Min" (members of The Nasty On and the Cinch)
